About Piano Lessons Hull

Welcome to Piano Lessons Hull! My name is Sarah Leonard and I’m a fully qualified teacher of Music and SEND, and I graduated from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I’m a Grade 8 Euphonium player, with experience of playing the Trombone, Flugel Horn and Piano.

I have over 10 years of teaching and coaching experience, working across the full age range from First School to Sixth Form. Adults are also very welcome to book lessons. I also have a 100% pass rate for my students entering ABRSM examinations.

I am a qualified music teacher having graduated from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, as well as having successfully obtained Grade 8 as a euphonium player, with lots of experience of playing the trombone, flugelhorn and piano. You can find out more about taking lessons on these non-piano instruments here: Music Lessons in Hull.

As far as my own musical education is concerned I’ve been lucky enough to have been taught by some very talented and successful musicians indeed. My first teacher was Dr Robert Childs. Whilst studying at the RSAMD I attended lessons and masterclasses with Steven Mead, Tony Swainson, David Dowall, The British Tuba Quartet and Christian Lindberg to name just a few.

For your peace of mind, I am fully registered with the DBS (formally known as the Criminal Record Bureau) and have a full Enhanced Disclosure Certificate. Do you have a piano or keyboard sitting in your home that you have often thought about learning to play but never got around to doing so? Now might be the time to do just that!

To find out more about my lessons, as well as to book your first piano lessons, don't hesitate to get in touch with me either via the contact page or by calling 01482 298125.
